July 7, 2008 - Hi, all - as some of you know...we have been gone most of the spring and summer travelling with the animals...Bishop Mule Days, Arizona, New Mexico and then a trip up into Colorado and Wyoming.
We have a few nice mules that have training and hauling experience...just haven't had a time to get a "beauty" show of them. Will get to that this week. I've started updating the website to get the info out on each mule we are offering for sale. Please e-mail, call or check the website again often to see if one of these nice mules will suit you. We are back in Texas until the end of August, so you are welcome to come out and see some good mules.
Thanks for visiting our website - if this your first time, welcome...I know that for many of you, you keep an eye on what we are working with and offer for sale and thanks for coming back.
We have been training mules for almost 30 years now...and look forward to another 30 years. It has been a wonderful journey and we appreciate everyone who has encouraged and supported us, family, friends and customers.

Our Jack "Amarillo Slim"(above) is an own son of JenJack. He was 1985 Bishop Mule Days World Champion Jack and 1986 Houston Livestock Show Model Donkey. Siring mules with tremendous disposition, conformation and athletic ability.
We have been raising and training mules since 1978. Our mules are good-minded, with sound conformation. They are trained with natural horsemanship techniques. These mules are pretty enough for the showring, but good-minded enough to be great TRAIL animals.

What a year - diesel is $4.50 and up around the country. I realize that some people are having trouble selling their mules, but for us...our customers are more serious than ever about buying a quality mule that is broke, gentle and will add to their enjoyment of life. They want it now...not after buying 2 or 3 cheap ones that are not fun to handle, ride...and possibly even put them in the emergency room...we raise, train and sell the type of mule that we personally want to ride and enjoy!

We have been fortunate to raise and train some great mules over the past 25 years. Mules that are "willing partners", successful in the showpen as well as great trailriding companions. Thank you for our success--to our family, friends, mentors and customers.
If you are looking for a really calm, gentle riding animal that is not spooky or a run off, with lots of personality, you should consider a saddle donkey. We have started appreciating and enjoying the mammoth donkeys for trailriding and as loyal companions...if you'd like to see what we have for big donkeys that ride, some drive, see our website www.DonkeysAtWindchimesFarm.com .
In addition to website pages listed on the MAIN navigation bar Upper Left, please note that there are ADDITIONAL Website pages listed at the bottom of each page.
You may even want to take a look at the pages that include the mules we have sold this past year...it will give you a better idea of the kind of mules we have raised and trained that have gone on to new owners.
